New rules for foreign travelers will be applicable in UK from Monday, know what changes have happened for Indians?


New Delhi: In the Corona period, the UK is going to change its travel rules from Monday, 11 October. These changes will allow travelers from many countries to enter Britain. After the ban on British citizens in India, the citizens of India were already allowed to enter from the UK side. After the new rules from October 11, now passengers taking both doses of Covishield will not need to stay in quarantine.

After the new rules, if a passenger is fully vaccinated, he will have to book and pay for two Kovid-19 tests before travelling. This test will be taken upon reaching there. Along with this, the traveling passengers will also have to fill a passenger locator form 48 hours before reaching England.

If a traveler received a second dose of vaccine at least 14 days before arriving in the UK, you will be considered fully vaccinated. The guideline states that the day you took your last dose will not be counted as the 14th day.

The UK government has accepted the vaccine certificate from Covishield and India. The UK has said in the new guidelines that India will be included in the list of countries that have approved vaccination certificate. If you arrive in England before 11 October, you will have to follow the rules that have been made for people who have not been fully vaccinated. Travelers arriving in the UK from tomorrow will be required to show a vaccine certificate.

There is a ban on entry into the UK for travelers from countries included in the Red List. Now only seven countries are left in the UK Red List. Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Haiti and the Dominican Republic remain in the red list.
