Allahabad. The great negligence of Indian Railways, which is called the lifeline of the country, has come to the fore. Due to the negligence of railway officials and employees, the dead body of a woman along with the coffin disappeared from the moving train? Railway officers lost their sweat in finding him. After the stir from Mumbai to Prayagraj, the railways found the body and the coffin after about 16 hours and handed over the body to the relatives. During this, the breath of the family members remained stuck and the rites of the deceased woman could be performed a day later.
In this case, instead of accepting their mistake, the railway officials are trying to shirk their responsibility by blaming an unknown person who is mentally ill.
this is the whole matter
Actually the whole matter is of Patti area of Pratapgarh district of UP. Sarvari Begum, an elderly woman living here, was suffering from cancer. He was undergoing treatment at Tata Hospital in Mumbai. He died in the hospital three days ago during treatment. The family members decided to keep the body in the coffin and bring it to Prayagraj by train and take it home by ambulance. The family members booked their tickets in sleeper class from train number 12167 running from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Maduwadih, while the coffin was booked in the SLR i.e. luggage compartment next to the guard. In Mumbai, the family members got the coffin offered in the SLR coach in their presence.
There was a stir when the coffin was found missing
When the train reached Chivki station in Prayagraj at around 11 pm on September 13, the family members reached the SLR coach to collect the coffin. There they were told that the coffin in the coach had gone missing and that it may have fallen somewhere on the way. When the family members started a ruckus, there was a stir from Mumbai to Jabalpur. RPF was put on alert everywhere.
Coffin and dead body found in mutilated condition along the track
The officials also took this negligence seriously. After which the body and coffin were found lying in the bushes along the track in Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh. The coffin was broken at many places. Not only this, the body was also damaged. However, after getting the coffin repaired, it was sent to Prayagraj by another train at around 4 pm on Tuesday. Here the body was handed over to the family members after a formality of hours. The family members reached Pratapgarh late at night with the dead body. Due to this negligence, the last rites of the woman’s body could be done on Wednesday afternoon.
try to get away from the matter
In this case, CPRO of North Central Railway Zone, Dr. Shivam Sharma first tried to get rid of the matter by telling the matter of another zone. When he was reminded that Prayagraj Chhivki station, where the dead body was supposed to land, falls in this zone, he gave information about the damage control exercise done by the railway department after the body fell. He told that the RPF officers of Jabalpur have informed that on the way a man looking like a lunatic had come near the train and broke the seal of the SLR coach. Because of this, the coffin fell near Maihar on the way. Whereas according to the rules, the SLR coach is duly sealed at the station where the goods land.
He left the question of action against those who were negligent in this matter to Western Railway. At the same time, due to this negligence of the railway, there is anger and sadness among the relatives of the deceased.
