After the success of the Mahapanchayat of Muzaffarnagar and Karnal in Uttar Pradesh, now the Bharatiya Kisan Union has decided to hold a Mahapanchayat in Panipat on September 26, one day before the Bharat Bandh. Through this mahapanchayat, Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, will make a ruckus from here on the bandh and will address the farmers.
State President of Bhartiya Kisan Union, Ratanman said that Rakesh Tikait, National Spokesperson of BKIU will address the Kisan Mahapanchayat on 26 September at New Grain Market in Panipat. Thousands of farmers of Panipat district will participate in the Kisan Mahapanchayat to be held on the historic land of Panipat. The State President said that today the duty of all the farmers has been imposed to make the Mahapanchayat a success. He said that before the Bharat Bandh call on September 27, this Mahapanchayat will give strength to the call for Bharat Bandh. He said that Rakesh Tikait would also be honored on this occasion.
At the same time, Sonu Malpuria, District President of the Bharatiya Kisan Union said that he had visited the grain market regarding the Mahapanchayat. Preparations are going on in full swing for the Kisan Mahapanchayat to be held in the district. Every effort will be made to make this Mahapanchayat a success. In the meeting, with the consent of the office bearers of BKU, members of the Joint Kisan Morcha Coordination Committee and the farmers who have come from all over the district, the location of the new grain market of Panipat has been decided for the Kisan Mahapanchayat.
