The Government of Madhya Pradesh is building a 404 km long Chambal Expressway in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Road and Transport. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, this expressway will also connect Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. This cost is being said to be Rs 8250 crore. According to the information, the length of Chambal Expressway will be 18 km in UP, 77 km in Rajasthan and 303 km in MP. This expressway is special because it is a 6 lane access control highway. This expressway will connect with all major highways. Chambal Expressway will start from Sheorpur on the Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan border. Will pass through Birpur, Sabalgarh, Jhandupro, Gohad, Morena, Amba, Bahri (Bhind). It will pass through Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. With the construction of this expressway, the journey from Etawah to Kota will be completed in just six hours. This expressway will directly connect Kanpur with the Delhi-Mumbai corridor. .
