Mumbai. Viacom 18 Studios has brought many of the most awaited Hindi films to the silver screen including ‘Rocky and Rani love story’ and ‘Jug Jug Jio’ directed by Karan Johar. Has joined hands with Dharma Productions. Under this agreement, both the companies will collaborate on Shakun Batra’s next film and Shashank Khaitan’s feature project.
Shakun Batra’s next film stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karva, while Khaitan’s project stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in pivotal roles.
‘Rocky and Rani’s love story’ stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani will be seen in lead roles in the Raj Mehta directorial ‘Jug Jug Jio’.
Viacom 18 These films to the studios got satellite rights
The films that are part of this deal are in different stages of production and are likely to release in the next 18-24 months. According to a press release, Viacom 18 Studios has also got the satellite rights of these films.
Viacom18 Studios COO Aji Andhaar said the deal to produce the film ‘Slate’ strengthened his long-standing relationship with Johar and Dharma Productions. Various details about the film are shown in ‘Slate’. Johar said that each and every film of Dharma Productions is committed to entertain cinema lovers and this partnership will further enhance its capabilities.
