New York. Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for India on Saturday after the conclusion of his US visit. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that India-US relations will grow stronger in the years to come. During the three-day visit, Prime Minister Modi addressed the 76th session of the UN Security Council and before that attended the direct Quad Summit. In addition, Modi attended bilateral and multilateral events with US President Joe Biden, US Vice President Kamala Harris as well as his Australian and Japanese counterparts.
Just before leaving for home, Prime Minister Modi tweeted that he participated in bilateral and multilateral programs in the US in the last few days which were very fruitful.
He tweeted, Interacted with various CEOs in the last few days and participated in bilateral and multilateral events including the United Nations Address, which was very fruitful. I am confident that India-US relations will grow stronger in the years to come. The rich relationship between our peoples is one of our strong heritage.
Prime Minister Modi also met top US CEOs of five companies and invited them to invest in the country. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi termed Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the US as “historic”.
