For the first time in the history of IPL, RCB defeated Mumbai twice in a season. Earlier, in the match held on 9 April, the team defeated Mumbai by 2 wickets. This is Mumbai’s third consecutive defeat and sixth overall. RCB have won 6 out of 10 matches. The team is at number three in the table with 12 points. RCB fast bowler Harshal Patel also took a hat-trick in the match. He became the third bowler from RCB to take a hat-trick. Mumbai’s team has come from 6th to 7th number in the table. Rohit Sharma (43) and Quinton de Kock (24) gave a good start to Mumbai chasing the target. Both added 57 runs for the first wicket. At one time the team’s score was 79 runs for one wicket.
