DU cut off list: The first cut off will come on October 1 by 6 pm, know how much is likely to increase

New Delhi. The first cut off list for UG courses in Delhi University is coming tomorrow i.e. October 1. Students are waiting for the cut off list for the last two months. According to the Delhi University administration, the cut off is set to be released by 6 pm, so that students do not have to wait till night. It is worth noting that a total of 438696 students from across the country have registered for UG courses in Delhi University.

DU Dean Admission Prof. Rajeev Gupta while talking to Hindi said that the schedule of cut off list has already been released. Accordingly, the first cut-off will be released on October 1 and the fifth cut-off will be released on November 8. Special drive cut off list will also be issued if seats are left.

He told that all the colleges have been asked to hand over the cut off to the DU administration by 1 pm. After that it will take time to confirm it. It is likely that by 6 pm, the cut off has been released on the DU website, so that students do not have to wait till late evening or night.
DU Dean Admission said that it is not possible to tell how much the cut-off will go as compared to the previous years, but it is necessary that the cut-off will be higher by about .5 percent to 1 percent as compared to earlier. Although it will depend on the individual course.

How to apply online

After the release of the first cutoff list on Friday, from October 4 to October 6, students will be able to apply online for those colleges/courses with which their best four scores match. DU has just released the schedule of five cutoff lists. If the seats remain vacant, the DU administration will also keep a special cutoff by running a special drive.
