New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said on Friday that the conflict between ‘Left and Right’ and ‘East and West’ born in the post-World War II geopolitical situation has faded away and today the world It is adopting humanistic ideas which is the essence of Hindutva. Hosbale said this while participating in a discussion on RSS pracharak Ram Madhav’s book ‘The Hindu Paradigm: Integral Humanism and Quest for a Non-Western Worldview’.
Sarkaryavah of the RSS said that both capitalism and communism have passed away, but some ideas of capitalism and some ideas of communism still exist and will remain so. He said that these ideas are the ideas generated from the human mind which are based on the experiences of the people, so we should take advantage of the best ideas of all the regions and classes.
Hosbale said that we started a fight between the Left and the Right and the East and the West that arose as a result of the geopolitical situation after the Second World War . He said that even in our training camps in the RSS, we have never said that we are right-wingers.
Now the matter of struggle has faded away
Sarkaryavah of RSS said that many of our views are such which are almost left wing and some are definitely so called right wing ideas . Hosbale said, but with the passage of time the talk of conflict between East and West has faded away and today the world is adopting all the ideas based on humanism and this is the essence of Hindutva.
He said that East is not completely East, West is not completely West. Similarly, the Left is not wholly Left and the Right is not wholly Right. He said, it is the East in principle and the West in principle. Now even the people of the West are in search of a new idea and a new philosophy which is based on humanism .
Sarkaryavah of RSS said that Integral Humanism of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay is important. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party also accepted the philosophy of Integral Humanism and before that Jana Sangh had also accepted it.
