Kolkata: The NIA on Thursday filed a second chargesheet in a special court here against two Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists for carrying out illegal activities, radicalising people, inciting people to do jihad against India. This information was given by an officer.

The investigating agency said that Altaf Ahmed Rather of Bandipora in Jammu and Kashmir and Bilal Durrani, a resident of Lahore, Pakistan, have been made accused under the Indian Penal Code, the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

The case was registered in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district in March last year following the arrest of Tania Parveen, a member of the banned terrorist organization, a National Investigation Agency (NIA) official said.

The officer said that Altaf had an online friendship with Parveen. He was radicalized and recruited online in the terrorist organization.
