These actresses also had to go through the hate messages of the users and similar is the case of Rutuja Sawant playing the character of Mansi Deshmukh in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali’. Rutuja Sawant herself has disclosed about this.
According to Rutuja Sawant, due to playing the character of Mansi Deshmukh in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’, she not only has to face trolling on social media. Due to playing negative characters, people send him different types of messages on social media.
Rutuja was earlier playing a positive character in the show, which was gradually converted into a negative role. As soon as his role changed, the love of the people also turned into hatred. People got so angry with him that even negative comments started commenting about his looks. Sharing her bitter experience, Rutuja told how her fans started questioning her character.
The actress told- ‘Mansi was getting a lot of love from the audience in the beginning, but later as soon as my role changed, people’s reactions also changed. But, the funniest thing was my parents’ reaction. He often watches the show and then asks me what is going to happen next. They do live commentary and also tell where I am performing under.

Rutuja told that I was trolled for playing a negative character. People on social media even called me ‘Nagin’ and started commenting like ‘Tumko will burn’. Rutuja says- ‘At first I was scared seeing these messages. But, later it became a habit. I understood that whatever hate messages I am getting, it means I am giving my best.
