Maharashtra Unlock News: Theaters will open in Maharashtra from tomorrow, know all the guidelines


Mumbai. As soon as there is a decrease in corona cases in Maharashtra, the Government of Maharashtra has started giving relief to the public. Now from Friday, there is going to be a big unlock in Maharashtra (Maharashtra’s Big Unlock). Due to this, cinema halls and amusement parks are also being opened with certain conditions. The government has given permission to increase the hours of restaurants, shops and eateries. This decision was taken by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray after a meeting with the Maharashtra Kovid-19 Task Force.

On the unlock happening from Friday, the BMC said that under the ‘Break the Chain’ guidelines, the provisions mentioned in the notification in the notification of the Government of Maharashtra will remain in force ‘as is’ till further orders. The BMC has said that it is mandatory to follow the Corona-19 norms like social distance, use of masks and other rules announced by the state government. The government has also decided to reopen the amusement park. The parks will be opened from 22 October. Permission has also been given to open cinema halls across the state from October 22. Chief Minister Thackeray directed the officials of Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association to follow all safety and corona rules during the reopening of cinemas.

Only packaged food items will be sold in cinema halls. No one will be allowed to carry food and beverages inside the auditorium. For the time being, the government has given permission to resume cinema halls outside the Containment Zone. Restrictions will still remain in force in the Containment Zone as before. Where cinema halls will be started, instructions have also been given to sanitize halls and toilets at short intervals.

The Maharashtra government last week issued new SOPs for cinema halls, auditoriums and drama theatres. In this SOP, they were allowed to resume work with half their total capacity. In the latest instructions, it was asked to maintain social distance and meet other Kovid-19 standards.
