Government has two options
The government has discussed the issue of subsidy many times, but has not made any plan so far. The government has 2 options. First, supply cylinders without subsidy. Such is the condition of subsidy now
A worldwide lockdown was imposed in 2020 due to the corono virus epidemic. At that time, the prices of crude oil had fallen due to decrease in demand. This helped the Government of India on the LPG subsidy front as the prices were low and there was no need to change the subsidy. LPG subsidy has stopped in many areas from May 2020.
