New Delhi. There is news of relief for the people who are eagerly waiting for air travel. Budget airline company IndiGo will start a direct flight connecting Bhubaneswar in Odisha to Jaipur in Rajasthan on November 2. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has given this information.
In a recent letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Scindia said that the IndiGo airline will operate three flights a week on the Bhubaneswar-Jaipur route. Pradhan hails from Odisha. The Odisha government was demanding a flight on this route. Pradhan had written a letter to Scindia regarding this on September 17.

Scindia said, “I hope that the connectivity between the temple city of Bhubaneswar and the pink city of Jaipur will increase the movement of tourists. This will encourage economic activities in both the states.

Indigo will not start international flights for the time being
IndiGo customers may have to wait for international flights for now. Recently, IndiGo CEO Ronojoy Dutta had said that it would be impractical to start scheduled international flights at this time. Instead, it would be better to gradually increase the number of air bubble flights with different countries, he said.
