A reward of 40 thousand dollars (about Rs 1 crore 20 lakh) will be given in the total 30 matches to be held on the Super-12 stage.
Both the losing teams in the semi-finals of this global cricket tournament will get 4 lakh US dollars (about Rs 3 crore). This time a total prize of $ 5.6 million (about Rs 42 crore) has been kept for the teams in the World Cup. A total of 16 teams are participating in this tournament. 70 thousand dollars (52 lakh rupees) will be given to every team that is eliminated on the Super 12 stage. During the 12 matches of the Round League, 40 thousand dollars will be given for each match. The four teams that are out of Round-1 will get 40-40 thousand dollars (about 30 lakh rupees).
Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Oman, Sri Lanka and Scotland will be in Round 1. On the other hand, teams from India, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Australia, England, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies have already reached the Super-12 stage.
