Mumbai. Bollywood’s veteran actress Bhagyashree has recently made a comeback in the acting world with Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Thalaivi’. She took a long break from the film industry, after which Bhagyashree now wants to make a comeback with a good project. He made his debut in the year 1989 with ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’. The film was directed by Sooraj Barjatya and she was opposite Salman Khan. Bhagyashree soon decided to leave the film industry to take care of her family, while Salman continued to work and gave many hits over the years.
Now, Bhagyashree has reacted to the possibility of working with Salman Khan again. He believes that there is little hope of working with Salman again. In an interview to Pinkvilla, she said, “I haven’t met him (Salman Khan) for a long time. But everyone knows, Salman is still working with young heroines. So I don’t know which script will come for both of us to work with.”
Salman has often faced criticism for bringing in a very young female actress to work opposite him in films. His latest co-actress was Disha Patani in the film ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. While Salman is 55 years old, Disha is 29 years old. There have been many female actresses like Salman’s opposite Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, all of whom are 20 years younger than him.
Bhagyashree worked with Kangana in ‘Thalaivi’. Bhagyashree’s performance in the film was also highly appreciated. He told how he was treated and respected on the sets. He also appreciated how Kangana always used to affectionately say goodbye to him before leaving the set. The film was directed by Vijay. The story of the film was written by KV Vijayendra Prasad. ‘Thalaivi’ also stars Arvind Swami, Madhu, Prakash Raj, Jishu Sengupta, Bhagyashree and Poorna. The film was released in theaters on September 10 and will stream on the OTT platform very soon.
